At the conclusion of the meeting a Vote of thanks and confidence was passed by acclamation. WAITAWHETA MEETING FARMERS HEAR ADDRESS Mr Balfour Dawson the official candidate (.for the Democratic Soldiers.’ Labour Party in the Thames electorate addressed a meeting at Waitawheta on Tuesday evening, those present being chiefly farmers. Mr Dawson dealt, with subjects affecting farming and manpower and •at the conclusion of the meeting was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.

SPEAKING AT WAIHI OUTLINE OF POLICY There was a good attendance at the political meeting held at Waihi on Thursday evening when Mr Balfour Dawson, official candidate for. the Democratic Soldier Labour Party for , the Thames electorate spoke. The Mayor of Waihi, Mr W* M. Wallnutt presided.
