GOOD QUALITY DAIRY HEIFERS VALUES AT PAEROA SALE The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports a heavy yardiing of all classes .of dairy cattle at their fortnightly sale held* at Paeroa on Monday. A good yarding of beef again sold very well. Good quality dairy heifers were in keen demand, backward and inferior being not so keenly sought after. Best quality, dairy cows and heifers made from £lO to £l4 15s, the latter price being secured for five heifers sold by Mr W. J. Noble. Medium quality from £8 5s to £9 15s; backward and inferior, £6 10s to £7 15s; best quality dairy cows, calved and close to profit, £7 10s to £8 15s; medium quality, £6 to £7 ss; backward and inferior, £4 to £5 15s. Prime beef cows and heifers, made from £9 10s to £11; medium quality, £B. to £9 ss; lighter, £0 10s to £7 15s; light and unfinished, £4 15s to £5 10s; heavy boners, £3 10s to £4; medium, £3 to £3 10s; light, £2 5s to £2 15s; thin, 35s to £2' ss; yearling heifers 1 , from £4 to £5 7s 6d. •
'Prime wethers, 28s to 325; store hoggets, 17s 3d.
Two-year service bulls, £4 to £7; yearlings, £3 to £4 ss; empty 2-year heifers, £3 10s to £4 15s; potter bulls, according to weight, £4 to £6 -10 s.
