MEAT REGULATIONS

VIEWED WITH ALARM TOO WIDELY DRAWN Communications regarding the recently gazetted meat regulations were received at the monthly meeting of the Auckland Provincial Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union. A letter from the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Federation conveyed a resolution that had been passed by that body regarding the regulations. It ,was stated that the position was regarded with “extreme alarm,” and that it was considered that joint action should be taken by the Farmers’ Union and kindred organisations.
