GRANT OF £1300
STOPBANKS ON THE PLAINS WORK IN HAURAKI WEST AREA 'Speaking in the House of Representatives recently, Mr A. >S. Sutherland, M.P. for Hauraki, thanked the Minister for including an additional item of £l3OO for repairing stopbanks for the Hauraki West Drainage Board area. That would enable a second dragline to be used to effect muchneeded repairs and would be of immense benefit to this district.
