GAMES PLACED AT NGATEA HIGH SCHOOL SUCCESSFUL After a very good game, the Ngatea District High School girls basketball team was successful in winning their match agairist a local representative side. The game was played at the High School grounds on Wednesday afternoon and probably it was only lack of practice on the part of the local goalers which resulted in such a difference of points, final scores being 24-12. Mrs J. Green was referee and the teams were as under:—

High School girls.—'Goalers, N. McAulay, Joan Hinton, B. Williams; centre, K. Neate, V. Williams, M. James; defence, J. Hayes, M. Crawford, A. Paton.

Local team.—Goalers, I. Jackson, I. Hodgson, N. McLeod; centre, B. Beck, C. Hodgson, U. Douglas; defence, Mrs B. Miller, N. Sherlock, A. Dalgety.
