RUGBY IN PAEROA
MEETING OF THE UNION ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY A meeting of the Management Committee of the Paeroa Rugby Union was held in the Gazette Office on Monday evening the chairman, Mr D. G. McMillan presiding. Others present were Messi’s J. Carmine, G. Masters, A. Crosby, R. L. Darley, K. Ryall and the secretary, Mr H. McGregor. It was decided to arrange a match on the Paeroa Domain between Paeroa and Thames for Saturday, the third grade to play the High School as a curtain-raiser. The main match will commence at 3 p.m. Mr H. McGregor was appointed to referee .the game. The secretary was instructed to contact Waihi to endeavour to arrange a return match at a later date.
