CARD EVENING
FUNCTION HELD AT KEREPEEHI SOLDIERS’ PARCEL FUND AIDED The Kerepeehi 'branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union held their card tournament in aid or Kerepeehi Soldiers’ Parcel Fund in the Kerepeehi Hall on Tuesday evening. Winners were:—Ladies: Mrs 'Godkin 1, Mrs Candy 2. Men: F. Scott 1, J. Spence 2. Winners of the aggregate prizes were:—'Ladies, Mrs H. Candy. Men, Mr H. Candy.
Give children’s white shoes a coat of white paint when they become too to be made whie with polish. A damp cloth and a little soap will then keep them clean and save buying shoepolish.
