AFTERNOON AT KEREPEEHI AN ENJOYABLE FUNCTION The monthly meeting of the Combined Kerepeehi Ladies’ Guild (Presbyterian and Methodists) was held at the residence of Mrs Kearns, Kerepeehi, on the afternoon on August 3. The president, Mrs Kearns, presided. The secretary read the balance sheet of the social evening, which was held last month and reported that it was a success both' financially and socially. . competition for the afternoon, a spelling test was won by Mrs V. Strong, with Mrs R. Reddy 2. The trades table in charge of Mrs R. Harvey and Mrs R. Reddy, did good business. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames W. Kearns, R. Harvey and R. Reddy.
