WINTER MEETING
RACES AT NEW CALEDONIA LOCAL JOCKEYS RIDE EACH HAVE A WIN ON THE DAY A second race meeting, the Winter Meeting was held at New Caledonia on Saturday, July 24, by the Northern Racing Club and according to reports a very enjoyable day was spent. Pte. W. Kidd of Kerepeehi and Pte. Mick Davies, of Paeroa, were among the jockeys riding at the meeting and both experienced reasonable success on the day. Details:— MAIDEN SPRINT Of 4 furlongs.
