THAMES ELECTORATE MR B. DAWSON TO STAND DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY Mr B. Dawson has been selected to contest the Thames seat as a candidate of the Democratic Labour Party at the forthcoming election. , Born in Wairarapa, Mr Dawson farmed in the Thames district for 12 years and was chairman of the Coromandel County Council. He was also president of the Colville branch of the Farmers’ Union and first president of the Coromandel Returned Services Association. He served in the last war from 1914 to 1918.
