Non-dancers spent the evening playing cards, the winners of which were:—Ladies, Mrs Strongman Snr.; men, Mr W. Pringle; consolation prizes, Mrs Jones and Mrs Inglis. The function ended at 1 a.m. THE “Ugly Man” —“Tiger” McNeil must win.
