McNiel, Omahu, Thames. URRY—DEACON, The engagement is announced between Colin Tremain Urry, only son of Mrs A. H. Eglinton, 17 Jutland Road, Takapuna and Agnes 'Phoebe, youngest daughter of Mr John Deacon and the late Mrs Deacon, Kopuarahi, Hauraki Plains. CHEERIO BRIDGE CLUB The Cheerio Bridge Club met recently at the heme of Mrs P. Jennings when the first prize was won by Miss R. Dickson and the hidden number by Miss M. Moore.
