GOLF CLUB FAREWELL

EVENING AT WAITAKARURU MISS E. DUNNING ENTERTAINED A pleasant evening was recently spent at the bachelor home of Mr Frank Barker, when members of the Hauraki Plains Golf Club entertained Miss Eileen Dunning. Many games and competitions were enjoyed and the ladies provided a sumptuous supper. A cheque was handed to Miss Dunning, by the president, who expressed the wish that she would find many friends in Wellington. Miss Dunning was recently on the staff of the Waitakaruru Post Office and has been transferred;
