PERSONAL
Pte. and Mrs R. Lowe are visiting Whitianga, Mercury Bay, during Pte. Lowe’s furlough from the East. Mrs Peachey and family have returned to Wellington after spending a time in Auckland. Mrs Howard and Mrs Devey, of Otahuhu, are holidaying in Mercury Bay. Mr and Mrs C. H. M. Simpson of “Dunsdale” have returned from a short stay in Auckland. Mrs E. C. Hurley, of Christchurch, is spending a period in Whitianga. Mr W. D. Bell, of Rotorua, is the guest of Mrs Troughear, Mercury Bay. Mrs Grigley, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs Lyon, Whitianga. Mr Cunningham of Auckland is spending a short time in the district of Whitianga. Mrs R. Sewell and Clare, have returned to the Bay after visiting Warkworth. Mr F. Harsant has returned to Mercury Bay after holidaying in the “Queen City.” Pte. D. Adams of Coromandel was among the personnel of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force who recently returned to New Zealand from the Middle East on account of their condition of health.
