BLINDED WlfH FINANCE HOSPITAL BOARD ESTIMATES At the July meeting of the Thames Hospital Board, when the clerk had finished explaining the mass of figures and the respective percentages dealing with the redrafted estimates of receipts and expenditure, the chairman asked the board members if the position was quite' clear to them. “Clear as mud!” replied one member, amidst laughter.
