WELCOME HOME AT NG ATE A FUNCTION THURSDAY EVENING At a meeting of the Ngatea Patriotic Committee and Soldiers’ Farewell Committee held last night at Ngatea, a joint committee was set up to supervise all future welcome home functions. It was decided) to hold a Victory Ball in the Ngatea Hall on Thursday night, July 22, commencing at 8.30 p.m. when an official welcome home will be tendered to all Hauraki Plains men returned from service with the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force. All next-of-kin are cordially invited to attend the function.
