GREAT WELCOME
ALL PLEASED WITH PAEROA COMMENT BY SOLDIERS That the welcome extended at the Paeroa Railway Station was the best they had received since they had been back in New Zealand was freely expressed by> members of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force who passed through Paeroa on Tuesday morning. One soldier speaking to a Gazette representative said that they had thought the Te Aroha welcome was good—it had been the best to that time—but Paeroa easily beat anything they had had ever received.
