LARGE YARDING
CATTLE SALE AT PAEROA VALUES AGAIN IMPROVE There was a very large yarding of all classes of cattle at the fortnightly sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., at Paeroa, when both dairy and beef cattle again showed an improvement. Best quality dairy hejfers, close to profit , made from £10; 10 s to £l2 ss; medium, £8 10s to £9 15s; later calvers, £7 5s to £B. Small heifers, £6 to £7. Best quality dairy cows, £8 10s to £l2 15s; medium quality, £7 to £7 15s; backward and inferior, £5 10s to £6 15s; prime young cows and heifers from £8 to £9 2s 6d; medium quality, £7 to £7 17s 6d; lighter, £6 to £6 15s; unfinished, £4 10s to £5 15s; heavy boners, £3 15s to £4 ss; medium, £3 to £3 12s 6d; light, £2 5s to £2 15s; thin, 30s to £2. Yearling, calves, £3 to £3 9s;. hoggets, to 15s 6d. Bulls sold according to weight from £5 to £7.
