Public Notices WAURAKI PLAINS DRAINAGE AREA—NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 24th. June, 1943. NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Hauraki Plains Act, 1926, to make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance costs for the period Ist. April, 1943, to 31st. March, 1944, as described in the Schedule hereto. The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on the 30th. July, 1943. The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer’s Office, Room 45, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a copy, of same may be inspected at the* office of the Land Drainage Engineer, at Kerepeehi, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business. SCHEDULE. Class A.—On the unimproved value of all lands classified as Class A by the appraiser appointed under the said Act, sixpence and eighty - seven one - hundredths of a penny (6.87 d in the pound. Class B.—-On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class B, threepence and ninety-three one-hundredths of a penny (3.93 d in the pound.
