Walnut Wonder Cakes. —Take Mb. flour, Mb. honey, 1-third cup walnuts (chopped)' 2 dessertspoons butter or margarine, i teaspoon powdered cloves S teaspoon bicarb, soda. Put honey and margarine into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Mix flour, cloves and chopped walnuts, pour
honey mixture over. Dissolve soda in a little cold milk, add and mix together. Half-fill small greased pattypans with the mixture, put half a walnut on each and bake i hour* in moderate oven.
