TYRES FOR UNION SECRETARIES

(To the Editor.) Sir,—I cannot other than comment on an article in your issue of June 14 entitled “Tyres Supplied.” I wonder why Mr Sutherland should single out trade union secretaries, omitting’ Farmers’ Union secretaries. National Party leaders and such like. I consider such questions only tend to create ill feeling and disunity at such times, as these. Take paragraph three of his question nothing more or less than distrusting public men. I would rather refrain from commenbing further on Mr Sutherland’s and would rather leave that to tie judgment of his electors.—l am, etc., j H. GALLAGHER* Miller Avenue, Paeroa. 17:5:43.
