BASKETBALL AT KEREPEEHI TOWNSHIP PLAY THE BLOCK A basketball match played on the Kerepeehi tennis court on Saturday between teams from the township and the block ended in a draw, the game being 12 all. The teams were:— Town team. —Goal, E. Bennett, I. Hayes; centre, K. Jordan, J. Candy, M. Poland; defenders, N. Strong, P. Stone. Block team.—Goal, S. Harvey, Mrs Warner; centre, D. Clark, G. Braithwaite, K. Jessen; defenders, E. Patterson, I. Hayes.
