PIG VALUES AGAIN ADVANCE
SMALLER YARDING IN PAEROA
At the fortnightly pig sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., held at Paeroa on Monday they report a smaller yarding than usual with all classes of store pigs very keenly sought after and sold at values in advance of previous sales.
Heavy baconers made from £3 10s to £4 16s; medium, £4 to £4 7s; lighter, £3 5s to £3 15s ;heavy porkers, £2 10s to £3; medium, £2 5s to £2 10s; light, 35s to £2; large stores, 30s to £2 2s; slips, 23s to 30s; good weaners, 15s to 20s; others, 10 s to 15s; choppers, £3 to £4 4s; sows, close to profit, £2 to £5 10s.
