OFFENDERS ON PLAINS WARNED ANIMALS SOLD DURING MAY ■ —— / That he had to warn 11 offenders for straying stock during trie month of May was reported by the ranger, Mr W. W. Williams, to Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauratai Plains County Council. The report added: — “Impounding at Waitakaruru consisted of three cows which were released after a few days. At Ngatea pound, three cows, one lamb and 18 calves were impounded. Owing to not being claimed, one cow and lamb were sold, realising JS2 8s and 14s »- spteavejy.”
