SALE HELD AT MORRINSVILLE

The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited report that at their weekly stock sale held at Morrinsville on Friday a small yarding of fat sheep came forward. Competition was keen, and prices were very firm. A medium yarding of fat lambs met with a good sale, and prices were on a par with late rates. There was a good yarding of store sheep, including the advertised lines of breeding ewes.' Competition was not keen, 2-th. ewes especially being very dull of sale, although a good number of the older ewes changed hands at prices which were in the buyers’ favour. A medium entry of cow beef sold freely at firmer rates. A full yarding of boner cows sold readily at recent ' quotations. Yearling Jersey heifers were in demand, and good quality pens sold at improved rates. A smaller yarding of dairy cattle came forward.
