Miss L. Robinson, of Whitianga, left on Friday for a holiday in Auckland. '
Mr and Mrs B. Chaney, of Mercury Bay, have returned home after a holiday in Taui’anga. Mr E. Sharpies has returned to Auckland after spending a week in Whitianga. Mr Lewis and Mr Mills, inspectors of the Auckland Education Board, visitted Whitianga district schools last week.
Mrs P. Foster, of Mercury Bay, is holidaying in the Queen City. Mr and Mrs J. Smith, of Kaimarama, Whitianga, are holidaying in Auckland.
Mr and Mrs C. Nicholson, of Ngatea, and their two sons, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Nicholson, Whitianga. Miss P. Hamilton, of Whitianga, is holidaying in Auckland city. Mr and .Mrs A. Bowman, of Mercury Bay, have returned from a visit to Auckland.
Mr C. Collins, of Rotorua, is holidaying in Whitianga, Mercury Bay. Mrs' I. Lee and wee Dorothy, of Whitianga, are visiting Auckland. Miss G. Sewell, who has been spending her holidays with her homefolk in Whitianga, has returned to Auckland.
Mi* B. Tucker, of Paeroa, spent the week-end at Whitianga, Mercury Bay.
Mrs E. Mannion, Whitianga postmistress, left during the week-end for her annual vacation, which she is spending in Auckland. Miss J. W. Rabe, of Thames, is spending a few weeks in Whitianga as the relieving postmistress. Miss Shirley Benham, Of the staff of the Coromandel School, spent the, week-end in town.
Mrs Tarrant-Hoskings, of Coromandel, is spending a short holiday in Auckland.
