USING UP THE OLD CLOTHES DRESSING THE SMALL KIDDIES That old, out-of-date coat or worn flannel dressing-gown will make an excellent suit, consisting of coatjacket and skirt for the small girl. A flannel dressing-gown will make a school blazer for either a girl or boy. When the blazer is made out of the scarcelyworn lower part of gown, have it dyed navy. Then add cord or braid as required. Sew on buttons after the dyeing has been done.
Sleeves of thick overcoats can be; made into slippers. The soles can be cut from felt hats that have been discarded. The upper part of a worn slipper can be unpicked and use'd as a pattern.
