GRAND DANCE
FUNCTION AT NETHERTON AN ENJOYABLE EVENING SOLDIERS’ PARCEL FUND AIDED A very successful dance was held in the Netherton Hall on Thursday evening last organised by members of the Netherton Oddfellows Lodge, the proceeds being in aid of soldiers parcels. Dancers from Paeroa, Kerepeehi and all parts of the Plains attended.
' Foote’s orchestra supplied good music and the evening was thoroughly enjoyed. A Railway Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss R. Mclntosh and partner.
Card prizes were won as follows: Ladies, Mrs V. Turner; men, Mr C. A. Stembridge.
