MARATOTO CLEARING SALE MANY BUYERS IN ATTENDANCE The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having conducted a clearing sale on behalf of Mr M. A. Ellis at Maratoto on Tuesday when there was a very large attendance of buyers present. All classes of sundries and implements sold particularly well. Good quality-Jersey springing heifers sold quite well while mediumsized later calvers were easier of sale. Aged gorses made to £23. Good quality springing heifers made from £8 10s to £9 ss; medium, £7 10 s to 1 £8 2s 6d; smaller, £6 5s to £7; backward arid inferior, £4 to £5. s Calvers made to £3.
