MISS JOYOE QUINN HONOURED

‘ AFTERNOON AT “CLANDEBOYE”

i ■ A very pleasant function was held at “Clandeboye,” the residence of Mr and Mrs J. Quinn, Kerepeehi, on Saturday afternoon, being in honour of their daughter Joyce who celebrated her twenty-first birthday. Many friends were present and. the re-union of Joyce’s schoolmates helped to make the afternoon very enjoyable. i . Games, competitions and communi ity singing were enjoyed by all present. Winners of the competitions were Misses N. Collins, M. Poland, R. Booth and J. Hayes. Mrs W. Chick proposed the toast i to the guest of honour, Miss Quinn. Miss Quinn responded in a pleasant i speech thanking all for coming along and for the many beautiful presents received.
