RACES AT TE RAPA

WAIKATO RACING CLUB LARGE FIELDS FOR SATURDAY ■Splendid acceptances have been received for the Waikato Racing Club’s Winter Meeting at Te Rapa on Saturday next. Owing to the fields in the Otorohanga Hack Handicap, Stewards’ Handicap, 'Seddon Hack Hurdles and the Horotiu Hack Handicap exceeding the safety limit, provision will be made for divisions in these races.

Horses which may receive support may include the following:— Melville Hack and Hunters’ Steeples, about 2i miles.—lndian Sun, Bisquit, Surwin.

Otorohanga Hack Handicap, of 1 mile. —First division: Peter Gregor, Sir Standfast, Indian Sport. Second division: Icefloe, Kanui, Skydonna. Hamilton Hurdles, of 2 miles. — Evan’s Head, Hunto, Colibri. President’s Handicap, of 1 mile and 3 furlongs.—Landveyor, Sea-law, Justina.
