PATRIOTIC BOARD OFFICER .SECRETARY G. A. HAYDEN . Mr G. A. Hayden, the National / Secretary of the New Zealand Patriotic Fund Board, has notified the secretary of the Te Aroha Patriotic Society (Mrs F. T. K. Gaw) that he will be visiting Te Aroha on Tuesday, 18th, Mr Hayden’s letter to Mrs Gaw is as follows: — “I will be arriving in Te Aroha from Waihi at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, with the main object of endeavouring to secure supplies for the forces in the Pacific. While in Te Aroha I would like to have the opportunity of meeting your local committee and if you so desire, I would be pleased to address a public meeting on the work of the Patriotic Fund Board. I will contact you on arrival.”
