LARGE MARAMARUA YARDING £l2 PAID FOR QUALITY STOCK. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report ( having held a special heifer sale at Maramarua on Tuesday when a large yarding of heifers in fair condition, came forward. All classes of good, quality heifers sold quite well, making up to £l2. Backward and inferior sorts were dull of sale and hard' to quit. Good quality heifers made from £lO to £l2; medium quality, £8 10s to £10; backward and inferior, £6 to £7 10s; late calved’ young dairy cows, £5 to £6 10s; two-year-old mixed coloured steers, £4 10s to' £5; yearling calves, £2 to £3.
