PERSONAL

Mr Morris, of Kerepeehi, is spending the school holidays in Auckland. x Mr W. K. Morrison, of Hikutaia, is at present visiting Wellington.

Mr J. E. Bartley, of Hotel Ngatea, is visiting Auckland. Mr R. Whiting, of Paeroa, left today to spend a holiday in New Plymouth.

Mr R. Cato, of Auckland, has been the guest of Mrs V. Brown, of Hikutaia.

Mr J. G. Costello, of Rotokohu, Paeroa, left yesterday to spend a few days in Auckland.

Pte. E. White is reported as wounded in a recent casualty list issued by the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force. His sister is Mrs J. Denton, of Paeroa. Mr N. S. Parkyn, of Oamaru, has joined the staff of the Paeroa 'Post Office as overseer, filling the vacancy caused by the transfer of Mr K. R. Mclsaac to the South Island.
