BEES IN A WORKSHOP INCIDENT IN THAMES There’s an elderly gentleman in Thames who grows his own’ tobacco. His brother-in-law, who lives in the same house, keeps bees. Well, the old chap was preparing rum and honey for his weed the other day, when a swarm of bees entered his workshop and proceeded to rob him of y his honey. His efforts to chase them off were in vain, so he let -them feast. But before long he noticed that they were unable to fly. “I fixed ’em,” he said. “I got ’em drunk on the rum. I don’t think they’ll come back.” 'Or will they ? 1
