EGMONT RACING CLUB ACCEPTANCES FOR SATURDAY

Large acceptances have been received for the Egmont Racing Club’s Steeplechase meeting at Hawera on Saturday. Owing to the number of acceptors for the Tongahoe Hurdles and the Hack Scurry exceeding the safety limits, provision will be made to run these events in divisions ■

Horses'- which may receive support may include: — Tongahoe Hurdles, 1% miles.—Ginno, Vitement, Ascot Bloom. Egmont Steeplechase, about 2i miles. — Conflagration, Dusky Morn, Aussie Ra.

Telegraph Handicap, of 6 furlongs Transcend, Hongi, Miss Phaleron.

Champion Hack Plate, of 15 miles. —Jovial Lass, Sir Dingle, Alchemy. Hawera Handicap, of 7 furlongs.— Clarice, Gay Genet, Betterman. Hack Scurry, of 5 furlongs.— Transcend, Monmouth, Man-power. Mcßae Handicap, of 15 miles. —Full Hand, Alexcelia, Amigo.
