PLEASE HELP!
STREET STALL ON FRIDAY
TO AID PATRIOTIC FUNDS A street stall to raise funds for the 1943 All Purposes Appeal will be held in Paeroa on Friday next, May 7, by the ladies of the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee. Donations of meat, poultry, fruit, garden produce, cakes, preserves, jams, etc., in fact anything which can be sold, will be gladly accepted. Donations may be left at the Paeroa Borough Council Chambers, the Ohinemun Ccuntv C«”-ncil Chambers, the Gazette office, or at the stall on the day in question. Paeroa this year has been asked to find £2144 to assist in providing comforts for members o the Armed Forces and all are appealed to to not only purchase from the stall but to also assist by making donations of suitable goods.
