PRACTICALLY RUINED A MAN’S HERD PROTECTION AGAINST INEXPERIENCE STORMY GATHERING AT SALEYARDS A stormy meeting advertised to be held with the object of discussing “all aspects of sharemilking by all interested,” with particular reference to the establishment of some system whereby protection could be given a farmer from inexperienced labour, but which finally devolved somewhat into a personal quarrel between a sharemiker and a farmer, was held in the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company’s pavilion in the Morrinsville saleyards recently. The meeting was punctuated with demands from the sharemilker in question for permission to read a statement which, he said, answered the alleged charges against him.
