Mr Greig of Rotowaro, is the guest of Mr C. Nicholson, Kerepeehi. Mr Raff el of Waerenga is spending a holiday-with Mr A. L. Fisher, Kerepeehi.

Mr B. Middleton of Rotorua has returned to his home after spending the week-end with his mother, Mrs H. Middleton, Kerepeehi. Mr G. Noble, of Wellington, is a visitor to Kerepeehi. The friends of Mr R. A. Mace, of iPaeroa, will ‘be pleased to learn that he has returned to his home after successfully undergoing a major operation at the Thames Hospital. Major and Mrs T. R. Moore, of the Paeroa Salvation Army have received work of their transger to Oamaru. They will leave Paeroa on May 17. Mr A. Bowden, of Auckland, was the guest of .Mrs Howard Morrison of Hikutaia during the holidays. Mr Quinn of Timaru has been the guest of Mrs M. A. Ellis, of Hikutaia. Mr Bruce Lowry of Wellington, spent the holiday week-end with his parents, Mr and Mrs Lowry, of Hikutaia.

Messrs A. M. and G. Morrison and J. Bell of Hikutaia, were visitors to Whangamata during the week-end. In a recent casualty list issued by the New Zealand Air Force, PilotOfficer G. F. Beaver, who was previously reported missing, is now officially presumed dead. His mother is Mrs I. Beaver, of Paeroa and formerly of Waitakaruru.
