VERCOE’S PAEROA SALE MEDIUM YARDING OF CATTLE Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Co. held their fortnightly stock sale at Paeroa on Monday, April 19, when a medium yarding of cattle came forward. Good quality weaner heifers met with good competition and the whole yarding was cleared. Quotations: — Fat Cows, £4 15s to £5 10s; heavy boner cows, £3 15s to £4 4s; light, £2 5s to £3 2s 6d; potter bulls, £4 to £5 15s.

Dairy heifers, £6 17s 6d; 15-month S.H.-cross steers, £4; weaner steers, £2 7s; best Holstein weaner heifers, £4 12s; well-grown Jersey weaner heifers, £3 5s to £3 19s; cross-bred weaner heifers, £2 15s to £3 2s 6d. Fat wethers, 30s 3d.
