£lBl/11/- RECEIVED FOR YEAR OHINEMURI COUNTY RECEIPTS Goldfields revenue and gold duty received by the Ohinemuri County Council for the year ended March 31, 1943, totalled £lBl Ils Od compared with £245 Ils Od for the previous year, a decrease of £63 19s 2d. “In addition £368 19s 2d was due to the council for gold duty, but was retained for the council’s contribution to the cost of maintenance etc. of the Waihou and Ohinemuri river improvement works,” stated the review of the balance sheet before the April meeting of the Council. ,
