Public .Notices ANZAC DAY UNITED COMMEMORATION SERVICE 25TH APRIL, 1943 1.45 p.m.—PARADE to be assembled at Post Office under command of Major Bartlett. Returned Servicemen, Home Guard, Cadets, Girl Guides, Fire Brigade, Women’s War Service Auxiliary, Boy Scouts, Scholars of Paeroa District High School, scholars of St. Joseph’s Convent School and Brownies and Cubs will be assembled at the Cenotaph. 2 p.m.—THE PARADE, led by The Paeroa Municipal Band, will leave the Post Office and proceed via Norman'by Road, through the Arney Street entrance to the Cenotaph. SALUTING BASE: His Worship the Mayor will take the salute as the Parade passes

the Borough Council Cham-

bers. 2.15 p.m.—PUBLIC COMMEMORATION at the Cenotaph: The National Anthem, led by the Paeroa Municipal Band. Floral tributes placed, in which all are invited to participate. Floral tributes placed on the Bradford Memorial by veterans of the South African War. Hymn, “0 God Our Help In Ages Past; Prayer, Rev. J. R. Nelson; Scripture Lesson, Major T. R. Moore; short address, Mr T. H. Jamieson; hymn, “O Valiant Hearts”; “Last Post,” Band, E. Beilbyf One Minute’s Silence; “Reveille,” Band, E. Beilby. Collection boxes will be placed at the top of the hill and at the entrance gate to receive donations in aid of the Returned Services’ Association Relief Fund. Motor-cars must not park m the Domain nor will they be allowed inside the gates after 2 p.m. Limited seating accommodation will be provided for elderly people. In the event of wet weather the Service will be held in the Regent Theatre and the public will be invited to place wreaths in front of the stage. EDWIN EDWARDS, Mayor.
