PAEROA BOY SETS RECORD

SECONDARY SCHOOL SPORTS

Competing at the Combined Waikato Secondary Schools’ annual sports at Steele Park, Hamilton, last Wednesday, Gray Vuglar .of Paeroa in winning the intermediate 220 yards established a record for the distance, covering the furlong in 24 seconds, one second faster than the previous record.

Detailed results of successes by Paeroa competitors are as under: — 100yds. Intermediate.— 'Gray Vuglar, dead heat, 1. 220yds. Intermediate. —Gray Vuglar, 1 (record 245). 440yds.
