NICE FAREWELL GESTURE SCREENING IN COROMANDEL Mrs C. Fraser, proprietress of the Coromandel Picture Theatre, gave a free screening of the picture “Mr Deeds Goes to Town” on Wednesday last. Mr and Mrs Fraser and family are leaving Coromandel shortly to take up their residence in Auckland, and the screening of the picture was a generous farewell gesture on their part to the public of Coromandel. The hall was packed to capacity and” testifed to the appreciation of all.
