MILK AND EGGS
PRODUCE FOR HOSPITAL RAISED ON THE BOARD’S FARM That the board’s farm at Tararu had kept the Thames Hospital and the Homes well supplied with produce during the month of March was disclosed in the manager’s report to Tuesday’s meeting of the Thames Hospital Board. Details were given as under:— To “The Homes”.—Milk, 46£ gallons; potatoes, 1421 b.; pumpkin, 461 b.; apples, 401 b.; . eggs, 93. To Thames Hospital.—. Milk, 296 gallons; lemons, 108. The report added that 41 gallons of milk.had been supplied to the hospital from outside sources.
