“POSTSCRIPT” TO THE NEWS Mrs Roosevelt is seen in the accompanying illustration broadcasting the “Postscript” to the British Broadcasting Corporation nine o’clock news during her visit to Britain.
Her talk was broadcast simultaneously in the BBC Home and Forces programmes and on short waves in the African Service, and was rebroadcast in America on the Mutual Broadcasting System’s network. Later, a recorded version was broadcast in the BBC’s North American and other overseas services..
