FAIR YARDING OT CATTLE
WEANER CALVES BRING £3/14/-
Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Co. held their fortnightly stock sale at Paeroa on Monday when a fair yarding or cattle came forward, especially some pens of good quality weaner calves which changed hands at satisfactory prices.
quote:— Fat cows, £s’ 10s to £5 15s; heavy boner W cows, £3 10s to £4 3s; potter bulls, *£3 10s to £5 10s; heifers incalf, £6 to £6 15 s; good quality Jersey weaner calves, £3 7s 6d to £3 14s; good quality Holstein calves, £3 12s; Jersey calves, well grown, £3 to £3 7s 6d; fat wethers, 25s 6d to 275.
