PIG SALE HELD AT PAEROA

DEMAND KEEN FOR FAT PIGS

There was a full yarding of all classes of pigs at the fortnightly sale conducted by i the New Zealand

Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., held at Paeroa on Monday last.' Competition was keen for baconers' and good porkers while stores were hard to quit. Quotations: —

Light to medium baconers made from £4 to £4 10s ; light, £3 10s to £4j heavy porkers, £2 10s to £3; light porkers, £2 to £2 iOs; good stores, 30s to 40s; others, 20s to 30s; weaners, 5s to 10s; choppers, £3 10s to £5 10s according to weight.
