PRESENTATIONS MADE
PUPILS FAREWELL TEACHERS KEREPEEHI SCHOOL FUNCTION A social afternoon was held by the children at the Kerepeehi School on Tuesday last in honour’ of Mr Sansbury, headmaster, and Miss Lilley, infant mistress, who are leaving the district.
A very enjoyable afternoon tea was served by the girls.
During the afternoon vocal solos were rendered by Patsy Stone, Billy Kearns, Gilbert Powley and Mary Woodbridge, accompanied by Don Vivian at the piano. At the conclusion of the afternoon, Mr Sansbury was presented with a pair of 'book-ends and Miss Lilley with a set of lingerie as parting gifts from the pupils.
