STREET STALL
ALL PURPOSES APPEAL GOODS WANTED FOR SALE APPEAL BY THE CROQUET CLUB To assist in raising funds to fill the quota of £2144 allotted to the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee for 1943 the Paeroa Ladies’ Croquet Club will hold a street stall in Paerqa on Friday next, April 9, and appeal to the public for the same generous support allotted other such stalls.
The committee who are organising the next stall appeal for produce of all kinds, cakes, jam, fruit, vegetables, poultry, meat, in - fact anything which can be sold. All donations may be left either at the office of Mr Edwin Edwards, the Gazette office or at the stall on the day in question. Paeroa . and district this year has a big task ahead of them to collect the £2144 for the 1943 All Purposes Fund and every person is appealed to to not only give whatever they can spare for sale at the stall but to patronise it also.
